Hey peeps
im looking to get back into RC trucks and have been looking around on the 'net for some decent models. have found THIS little gem on the net and quite like the look of it but is it any good? im currently at RAF Cosford so a savage may be a little big to keep in the barracks, but the little truggy looks a bit more manageable... anyone had any experiance with them? cheers Steve

Hey peeps, long time no see.
i sold my Tmaxx and Savvy last year to buy a ped, (savage went for £100 in the end, i regret selling it now (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) ), now im done with the ped ive got a car.. and started my career as an aiframe engineer in the RAF which now means i have some cash to splash on toys. and said toy is a savage... only this time would prefer something with a bit more poke than the 21BB which was in my 3.5. (though to be fair that 21BB was bulletproof) so... i may be making a return to the scene of nitro, the barracks will never be the same again! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

hi everyone
just looking at the Sav XL that HPI have brought out and it looks rather nice, maybe i will get one sometime 2009 and have noticed they have upgraded much of the drive train, reinforced diffs, hardened thicker dogbones and outdrives aswell as putting a 3 speed box in they have finally put a decent steering servo in that isnt made of cheese... and given you a hump pack to power the beast, WOO! any thoughts?

hi everyone
just noticed when i got my Savage 3.5 out of its box for a bit of a refurbishment that it had "Nikko UK Limited" writen on the side of the brown box that it was shipped in... does Nikko actually have anything to do with HPI?
