so you think you can bash and jump your large scale, well beat this
went to a drift show at donninton raceway with the west midlands drift club and was challanged by the MX crew to do a big air jump with there ramp, it was a 75FT jump so i took the vorza over it and it made it so i then had a bash with the baja and it also made it. has anyone ever done 5th scale big air like this befor? BTW i did break the bottom of the rear shock after the 3rd jump when it missed the down ramp and landed on the concreate.

im moving home so i needed to find some fun closer to my home in tamworth. theres an awsome carpet racing club but its on a saterday night and the owners are big 1/12 racers so its only once a month i get to go race but there is a drift club in nuneton not far away so im getting set to attend sunday for some drift racing. not a clue what to expect but i converted 3 of my cars into drift cars. i give you my drifters
(IMG:http://media6.dropshots.com/photos/160482/20100626/b_183156.jpg) first up my serious drifter, MI4lp with balistic 13.5T motor and lexus ISF concept with full light setup and dresed up to look wicked (IMG:http://media8.dropshots.com/photos/160482/20100626/b_183206.jpg) (IMG:http://media8.dropshots.com/photos/160482/20100626/b_183242.jpg) scooby. you carnt see the flake in this but it looks pretty, i dont like the tyres on it as there to hotbodies drift tyres and are way to grippy. but it looks nice, its a rip off sprint 2 from hapan ive had for years. ok so CML has posted this about the last 5th national
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The FTX Punisher claimed a much deserved victory at the second round of the BRCA Large Scale UK National Championships held at Kernow Off-Road Race Track, Cornwall. The CML supported team put in an awesome job over the weekend to give the FTX Punisher it's first national championship win. CML Team member and FTX Punisher driver Steve Haynes Qualified 2nd overall with CML supported Darren Johnson qualifying in 5th and Ollie James, also supported by CML, qualifying in 4th. It was a clean start for the main final with Steve Haynes quickly moving into first place followed by Daren and Ollie after pole-man Stevo Backland, driving an MCD, had a problem and had to return to the pits. After a quick fix he soon returned to the action and set about catching the FTX Punisher’s leading trio. Darren made a slight mistake and left a gap for Ollie to pass through into second place where he pushed Steve Haynes for a while trying to get past. An unfortunate mistake from Ollie who clipped the track hose and dropped back to fourth place. He quickly got back on the pace and moved into third and set about chasing down 2nd place held by my team mate Darren Johnson. In the mean time Steve had pulled a healthy gap on the chasing pack as Steve Buckland was trying hard to close the gap on Darren and Ollie in 2nd and 3rd. Darren and Ollie changed places a couple of times over the race with the FTX Punisher trio leading all the way until Darren ran out of fuel moving Stevo Backland and his MCD into 3rd. Then, with less than 2 minutes of the final remaining, Ollie was struck with the same fate as his team mate Darren as he also ran out of fuel! This moved Stevo Backland up to second and Ollie down to 3rd overall. Good team work prevailed as Ollie and Darren informed Steve of their situation before leaving the rostrum giving him the chance to drive conservatively for the remainder of the final. This allowed Steve to take his first large scale victory and give the FTX Punisher its first national win here in the UK. (Steve also ran out of fuel on his run down lap.) "Not a bad result considering all 3 drivers were running standard engines and no tuned pipes. As a team we are all new to large scale racing and have to learn a bit more about engine tuning as this was our down fall and why we ran out of fuel." said Ollie James after the race. Overall another good result for the FTX Punisher with 3 in the top five and 2 on the podium, with that all important top step for Steve Haynes. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ok, i was there and i must say how disspointed and outraced that CML think its OK to post lie's 3 pishers finished but they fail to say that only 5 were in the final steve pulledup on P1, hell no he finnished almost 10 laps down with the MCD constantly pulling away darren ran out of fuel and i had told them to fill up# steve never ran out of fuel they fail to mention my punisher being taken out on the 2nd corner by darren purposly and finally which has made me pretty angry this sentence "Not a bad result considering all 3 drivers were running standard engines and no tuned pipes" ollie had a 26CC engine and a tuned pipe and steve had a tuned pipe and darren was the only one running standered. sorry CML but you have just pushed me off the punisher now, im going to have a good as i did at notts and derby and may buy an MCD. the punisher is a great piece of kit sho why do you think you need to lie about it?

wow guess what, i got spncership from CML and wheelspin models this year and have been given this to race with
(IMG:http://media8.dropshots.com/photos/160482/20091006/b_230048.jpg) little dusty at the moment for the frst track test this weekend just gone but its seriously is an MCD killer. i put a 30CC engine in there to compinaste for the lack of a tuned pipe, a high responce clutch, some new FG tires on MCD rims and some better servos. im also painting a new shell for it too. roll on the start of the nationals in 2 weeks
